I go to quite a few concerts. Rock, Metal, broadway shows, the occasional symphony, local groups and huge acts.
Anything that sounds appealing.
As often as possible I get tickets in a way that will give me an actual ticket, not a printed piece of paper with a scan image on it.
I save the tickets…and use them as bookmarks.
My concert going history is scattered across a bookshelf.

Physical books look better on my bookshelf, but I’m sorry….
my virtual bookshelf through Kindle is just as impressive.
As much as I love real books, I can’t randomly pick up a real book and start reading anywhere, considering I don’t carry books with me. My phone is just too convenient sometimes.

I know so many words and phrases in various languages…
…but god forbid I could even begin to actually have a conversation in anything other than English.
It doesn’t matter how much time I spend studying, reading, or anything else, it’s not practical.
I have no actual manner of practicing and really learning.
Why can’t Pennsylvania be a bilingual area?
This might be the most pathetically depressing day in a long time.
I’m not usually that keen on the weather, considering I hardly ever even look out a window when it’s not nice out, but damn.
This is miserable.

All… As in “I’m all” or “She was all…” A replacement for the term “like”. Usually seems to mean “says” or “said”. “He was all, ‘Are you mad at me?’ and I was all ‘No way, what are you talking about?’

is where my phone decided it was a good idea to cut off my text and just send it.
I was trying to say “You have a rather large package from JC Penny that just arrived in the mail. I’m going to assume it’s your esperesso machine ^^”
But…my phone decided to send a really awkward message to my girlfriend, instead.

I…partially agree with this.
I LOVE her voice, there is no doubt to that.
She & Him very quickly became one of my favorite artists after hearing them. Reminds me of Barney Kessel era Julie London.
However. I’m not overly impressed with her acting. Then again, I don’t think much of most actors anyway.
I’m certainly not impressed with the movies/TV shows...

On: Multitasking
Today I attempted to apply a lip balm (specifically Nivea: For Men) while making a phone call.
I hit the “send” button, then put the phone up to my ear.
…and the lip balm to my other ear.
My ear still feels pretty gross.
My girlfriend is moving quite a distance away.
Starting tomorrow morning I will officially be in a long distance relationship.
Not to be sappy and rant about how weird it is, and how I’m jealous that she got an awesome job, and how much I’ll miss her, and how I’ve never dealt with a long distance relationship before. no, that’s all stupid. No one cares about that.

On: Explaining why I'm taking part in NaNoWriMo
I’m in a book club. There are a handful of us who meet once a month. We pick a book, read it, and then talk about it next month.
Mind you, talking about the book usually just becomes “let’s BS for a couple hours because it’s fun”.
Then we pick another book.
I put up a bet for my fellow book club members.
If anyone finishes writing a novel for NaNoWriMo then...

I picked a character name and a setting and…OFF WE GO!
Why? Because there is a bet going on in my book club. If anyone actually finishes their novel, we’ll read it one month for the club.
